Here I am with Dave Fredrickson playing a duet of "Strawberry Roan."  Dave has recorded many western songs.  When I ask him to bring out his guitar his eyes light up and his smile gets as wide as the Rio Grande.

Valentino Nivilo

Valentino visits Bethel Elegant Home Care quite often to partake in our music sessions. Here he is with me at the annual Christmas party. He lives nearby in Rossmoor. Val has been a fixture at the facility for several years, bringing his compassionate nature and humor to every visit he makes.

Bob Kubik

Bob taught elementary and high school in Japan, Kansas, and California for 40 years.  Bob can always tell you everything in the daily newspaper and is interested in the history of every song we sing.

Ted Schmidt may not be able to speak with much volume, but he always selects the most interesting songs for us to sing. Ted is our gentle giant standing about 6'6" tall. When he adjusts his remotely operated recliner he looks like a pilot getting ready to eject from the cockpit.

Nancy Davis

Nancy is a joy to be with. She has a rich history of stories to tell from her travels around the world. She introduced me to the song "Ragtime Cowboy Joe," which has become a favorite of mine and the residents. Always dressed in the most fashionable of clothing and accessories, you might call her the the sartorially resplendent one!
